An Outdated Life Style of an Outdated Friend.

The Society had treated you well. . .yet, because of dogma, you tried to become nice than to become right in your judgement to society, you haven't realized that society is corrupted, filthy and remorseful. It is giving you a paltry of what it has taken from you.

If you will not develop yourself, none will happen to your future. We met 5 years ago, your drunk and boozed and now your body is taking its toll in the hospital.

You are my friend, that's the reason I am bringing you down, for you to realize that you are seeping out the purses of your family to spend in clubs and night bars with 'friends' who always told you look so damn amazing, with cigarettes in their lips and a bottle of fermented hops and barley in their hands.

You don't tell me, sleeping with different people is now "the update life style," I guess your life style is "The outdated one", as you have not even seen sodom and gomorrah, you haven't even slept with angels!

In age of existence, once you commit to go against Nature, prepare also to commit yourself in extreme sadness and pain.

After all the lights comes-out, music beats calmed, people breaks-out and you alone in misery. . .what is next?

Then you will blame society.

Support Pinoy!

2013 reflection: A lot of my countrymen always say that the Government does not support Filipino Inventions. Yes Perfectly True.

. . .And I see that we, its people are not supporting the Filipino products as well.

We are always amazed with the way we see our countrymen improved a lot of things in their life and the inventions that we all know can help them improve our lives as Filipinos and we point out immediately to the Government how un-supportive they are in not recognizing these local talents and not helping them on their research.

Well, looking on other perspective when the great people in the West had developed their products like Steve Jobs's Macintosh, Bill Gates's Microsoft, Henry Ford's Motor (Which was even antagonize by the Government), Andrew Carnegie's Steel Mill  had their start in difficult situations of their own.

But you see, even in difficult situations their products was patronized by their own countrymen!

In ending 2013, I am doing this reflection during quiet times and commemorating Rizal's Death yesterday, December 30, we are not really fully independent in our own beliefs. From head-to-toe most of us will still prioritize foreign brands from our own products.

Now you see a lady in Starbucks Coffee with her iPhone, her iPad and her iMac in the table sipping her iCoffee (pun not intended for the brand) and you know she rides jeepney in and our of her rented apartment near the slums where snatchers are waiting for her.

Now, it is true that we don't get much support from the Government, but do we also have support from our countrymen in using Pinoy products? are you even proud of it?

I die without seeing dawn’s light shining on my Country. . .You. who will see it, welcome it for me. . .don’t forget those who fell during the nighttime. (Rizal in Noli Me tangere).

Sorry for any typos, there's a lot. . .I'm not used to my new Mac. . .hehehe.

Earlier this noon, I was in a queue, and a Chinese man is in front of me. . .

He was murmuring. . . because of maybe, impatience in the long queue and slow system he said "Magmumura na ako sa Chinese e, sa inis ko dito e."

Sabi ko sakanya. .

Try mo minsan. . .

Opinions and Commentaries

I always believed that there are a lot of things that goes within a person mind and these are then translated either to opinions or sometime commentaries. It is only up to other people how to understand and reflect from these opinions.

Yes, I also understand that there opinions that are made without care.

But I also believe that opinion makers are entitled to it, irregardless if it is made responsible or not and we must also note that reactions to someone's comments also has a lot of responsibilities that come with it.

Life always goes into a series of events, but all of it is under Einstein's Law

"In every action, comes with an equivalent reaction"

I just wonder, what are these ships and war vessels doing in our territory?

I Sell Everything. . .

It was my first week here in Bangued - Abra, auditing a School which is under the administration of SVD Priests. It is a renowned place here, since SVD - Philippines started in this remote area of the Philippines to be a witness to the word.

Yes, let me introduce to you the Catholic priests, whom with all honor, I'm proud to have worked with and known them personally.

Rev. Fr. President Brigido A. Angngasing, SVD. - School President
Rev. Fr. Leonardo Huiqina, SVD - Campus Ministry Officer
Rev. Fr. John S. Bala, SVD - Finance Officer

Well, June 17, when I met Fr. Bing, along the corridor and asked him what time will be his mass, if ever there will be so that we can attend and listen to his homily. He smile and speak while maintaining that smile, as always his trademark.
"A. . .hehehe wala na akong misa ngayon eh. Tapos na. . .pero kung gusto nyo mag misa ako mamaya sa chapel para sa inyong dalawa, isama natin si Joey"

Well, deep inside, I feel hesitant and indifferent. It's not that I feel obnoxious toward the Catholic Priest. But I don't really do Catholic practice, and now it's just the three of us and, the mass is really intended for us.

I just smile and pay my gratitude that Fr. Bing would be giving mass for us. Even though my intentions was to find peace and be back to earth under God's wisdom. "Ok po Father Bing, thank you. Salamat po."

"Ok walang problema. 10:30 am sa Chapel, please don't be late"

"Yes Apo, thank you so much po"

As we gathered and pray silently. . . It inspires me a bit as he remind us that it is Father's day, and since that is one of my greatest weakness, my longing of having a father. I felt deep inside that I was intended to stand in front of him, to read the first reading and the responsorial psalm.

Happy Father's day to my Father. Wherever you are. . . and most of all to my Mum, who became a father-mother to the Four of us.

The homily goes like this. . . the wisdom I came for. . .

(Something like this)
There was this boy, beside the church on a Sunday morning together with the goods he is selling. He is shouting to the people: Everyone, come here come here for I sell everything. . .hear hear hear!
Then, there was this arrogant rich lady who heard what the boy is shouting. Together with her expensive dangling bangles, earrings and pouty lips, she approached the boy, take her stout purse and calls the boy's attention.

"You young man! As you can see, I am a woman of richness. . . I can buy things that I want and things that other people needs! Anytime and anywhere! Now tell me. . .what is there that you can offer me, if indeed you sell everything!"
"You see madam, I am a boy that only begs for your penny because of the family I love, so I extend everything that I can for your delight, I am sure that I will provide anything that you want, I anytime, at anywhere" the boy replied with forbearance.

The lady, feeling aghast with what she heard from the boy. She took out silver pennies, and let it shine on the boy's face.

"Then sell me peace!"

"Sell me freedom from slavery and war!"
"Sell me equality and anti-poverty!"
Then the boy, with all humility. . .bend his knees and took a Bible from his pocket and gave it to the lady. Smile and whisper "Here Madam, please accept this for free"

"What is this, shame you! I don't need this Bible! You aren't giving me those things that I want! You are not worth my money!"

The boy, with tears in his eyes, not because he was being insulted in front of the crowed, but because the lady in front of her was poor, empty and foul inside.

"You see Madam, You don't understand things that well, I sell you seeds!"

"Seeds that you must cultivate to provide peace and harmony;
Seed you must nourish to eliminate slavery and war;
Seeds for you to care for everyday to promote equality and to alleviate poverty"

I sell everything. . .

20 reasons why I dislike the Philippines

Jimmy Siezka - should be banned (persona non grata).

I like the idea. After he issued a statement of apology, I think it was alright. Anyway, the idea of Jimmy being banned from the Philippines is good for me, just for the sake of my countrymen.

But at the back of my mind. Jimmy was only used to measure the maturity of my countrymen. "Used" to let this third world country realized those part where improvements is needed.

“I’m deeply sorry that I’ve offended some of the people in the Philippines,” he said. “The show is just made to point out obvious things that any other person would acknowledge and say to themselves, or say to their friends, but obviously not take the steps that I took and put it in a video.”

“For those of you that think that this video was made to show my hate for the Philippines, I must say that you are sadly mistaken,” he added. “I’m just stating the obvious in an unconventional way in order to spark change. Never once did I use the word ‘hate’ in this piece. I simply pointed out issues that have been overlooked for quite some time.” - Jimmy Siezka.

Years under the colony of Spaniards, Americans and Japanense, the Philippines is very defensive from negative comments of foreigners. But never have done so much to help itself, improve and be successful. I am still hopeful, that Jimmy can spark a bit, so Filipinos, or the indios during the Spanish era, can lit a bonfire for this country to be progressive. I am still hopeful for this Country whose culture is already tarnish. Know thyself.

The Press is Free in the Philippines

It was in late August 2010 that I have received the order from my supervisor that I am to be assigned in Urdaneta, Pangasinan.

It was just few days since Quirino Grandstand Hostage Crisis which was aired globally. It was pain in my throat, but still I have to swallow the shame of having this crisis being a Filipino. Proud Filipino.

My two weeks stay in Urdaneta Pangasinan, caught my attention to the Philippine Free Press Magazine. It was featured in one of its article about the topic, the bile in my stomach - the Quirino Grand Stand Massacre.

To keep the story short, this Magazine wake my inner thoughts and still makes me proud being a Filipino. Finally, Just today, I finally saw the Philippine Free Press online.

For those who love reading, you may learn more about the Philippines by going in the above website. For my fellow Filipinos, be proud and be one in helping me support the Philippine Free Press.

Not just the weekly magazine itself, let's help the press in the Philippines to be entirely free.

Well, the incident in the Quirino Grandstand, I am not taking it from the press, but I believe they have played the vital role in giving blow by blow account of the hostage.
