Happy Teachers Day!
Today,October 15, 2010 in the Philippines is Momentous and eventful day, for we declare it Teachers' Day - well, as a way to say thank you and recognize our teachers for their important role in the society and most importantly to each and everybody's life.
For me, As I sit in a bus, traversing the EDSA going to work, I smile and recall vividly the faces of my teachers from preparatory to high School, and the Professors who always gave me tons of reason to be proud of them, wherever I may be.
As a CPA, who would have known that Mathematics up to first year was my weakess and hated subject, ever! and non of my angels have told me that it would be my life, that I'd be working with numbers up to my present life, and having a license because of it.
When I was in grade one, I encountered for the first time the very strict teacher and adviser of mine who also, first gave me a failing grade in Mathematics and to cry when finishing Rizal and he is about to leave his Family and to study in Manila. Mrs. Almero, Thank You so much and may your soul rest-in-peace.
When I was in grade 2, that was my first time to be punished inside the room with my pants-off, well it was great because I asked for it! hehehe. kid's stuff and sorts, thank You and God Bless to my class adviser, Mrs Panciles, God Bless You and Your Family.
Having the most of the lessons was in grade 3, where I learned to tell to my crush how I felt for her, well like this writing it in the black board "Leiann, I have crash on you" hehehe. well thank you and God Bless to my class adviser Mrs. Laxamana for everything, I salute you with most honor!
Knowing your teacher to have her colony on the School, means that she's your alas! Having a School Bus Driver, a playmate, a kuya as such. and most to learn hypothetical jokes from her that will really make you laugh, to understand the lesson in Filipino about panghalip, pangalan, panaguri and such, and to knwo valuable lesson on how to respect your fellowmen; thank You to Mrs Bernales, May God bless you and your entire family as they are closed to me as you have been closed to my family.
To Ms Rivera as I always call her, she always inspire me in going to school as she has been the so-called teacher crush during my days in grade 5, thank you for teaching us self-respect and the value of speaking English, I'm deeply sorry that I did not pay attention to you when you are speaking in front. God Bless you and your family, specially your lovely kids! whom you always wish could have qualities like mine. hehehe. thank you so much!
Thank You to my adviser in Grade 6, whom I already forgot her name, I also salute her for opening my mind to society as she always advices us with lessons on how to dwell with our fellowmen and the value of justice and peace, probably one of the reason why sometimes I think politically.
To all the High School Teachers, thank you so much and I love you all!
Thank You aswell to my Professors in College, you are so many to be told, but you will always be part of my life, heart, and my memory! thank you so much and I Love You all!
